adverbs

I have been learning how to use adverbs as sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

Sadly the girl walked around the school.   

Loudly the the dog barked at the cat.

My Holiday

AUCKLAND

Yah! I was going to Auckland on the Mana Bus, which was a double decker, for the holidays.

As we were the first ones on the bus Aunty Tui said “let’s go and sit up on the top of the bus, at the very front. Aunty Tui charged her phone while I had a sleep. There were heaps of stops. Aunty Tui and I played games because it was boring. Aunty let me play movies because there was wifi on the bus. We watched heaps of movies. When we were almost in Kaiwaka I felt sick. Luckily there was also a toilet on the bus. After a little while we finally arrived in Auckland.

We did lots of cool things in Auckland. We went up the sky tower and I got a pink T-shirt with the sky tower on.

Autumn

AUTUMN

The Autumn leaves fall from the brown trees.

The Autumn leaves are brown like brown yucky mud .

The colorful leaves on the floor look like a rainbow in the sky.

Hunted

Hunted

One dark night the full moon was shining bright and birds were twittering when a boy appeared from behind a bush. He smelled chicken so he run and jumped on three boxes then he found the chicken. When he walked to it he fell down the hole. Then a man came and flashed him with a camera which blinded him. The man tied him upside down. The boy and the man snapped the wishbone and the boy won. Then he had an idea. He took the bone and unlocked the padlock. Then he ran away. The man chased after him. Then he saw a hole. He got the camera and flashed it at him. He got away from the man.  Then he ran through the cage but the man got trapped in the cage. When he woke up he was tied up and he saw more jungle people dancing and singing below him.

My first narrative

                         scary nightmare

One night James and I woke up and saw a scary castle.

It was on a scary island that was creepy as ever.Vines and trees were everywhere. As James and I walked around we saw a marshy and swampy floor by the castle.

There was a wooden .bridge so we walked across to the scary castle. We knocked on the big scary door. WHOOOOOO! A ghost appeared  in  front of the door. James and I turned around and ran for our lives. because a beast fun after as I screamed for my

life

Rally car co driver

Lindsay started driving 40 years ago when she was 20. She became a co-driver after driving. Her highest speed was 216 km p/hr. They have a month between each race. Lindsay has to wear protective gear made of natural fibres so it doesn't catch on fire.

The car has to be light so they can go fast, so everything is stripped out. By Bailey
