simplify fractions

This is an activity we did when we were learning how to simplify fractions Something I think I have done well  is using my time tables chart but

next time I think I could improve is using my head for my timetables, not the chart.

First I need to find one part of the number. The denominator is the number you divide into and the numerator is the one you use to multiply by to give you how many parts you are looking for.

The year we are learning about Myths and Legends. Our theme is learn from a Myth became a Legend. We had to explain the difference between a myth and a legend. I chose a Legend .

The Wooden Horse of Troy

The story comes from a culture	It has human characters that do stuff that humans can do.	It can have some real characters like plants, humans and other animals.	It is set in a certain place.	It retells what someone might have done.	The main parts of the story are:
Greek- City of Troy	They are fight and win a town.	Humans and animals	Greek	Been a warrior and win a fight	After the siege of Troy had been going on for many years, the Greeks tricked the Trojans using a giant wooden horse.

The year we are learning about Myths and Legends. Our theme is learn from a Myth became a Legend. We had to explain the difference between a myth and a legend. I chose a Myth. 

The Myth of the Minotaur

The story comes from a culture.	It has non-human characters like gods.	It can have some real characters like plants, humans and other animals.	It is set in a certain place.	It explains why a certain person did something	The story has a narrative structure with a problem that gets solved.
Island of Crete	Minotaurs God Zeus Theseus	King Minos Princess	Labyrinth-Crete	Theseus fought the minotaur which was a giant with a bulls’ head.	Once there was a really mean king called Minos who used to feed people to his pet monster, the minotaur. A brave guy called Thesus decided he would try to kill the monster. The kings daughter thought Thesus was cool so she gave him some things to help him. Theseus cut off the monster’s head and saved the people.

England-Robin Hood	Robs the rich-gives money to the poor Fights with a bow and arrow Lives with his mates in a forest	Plants, people, animals	England- medieval times	How a good and brave man tried to help poor people.	Robin Hood was a rich young man who got in trouble with bad, greedy men who were taking money off poor people.He decided to help poor people by robbing the greedy, rich people.He lived with his mates in a forest where they could hide from the bad guys.
